I don't think a standard flute, even witht eh B foot can do that. Of course, if u make the instrument EXTREMELY flat by pulling out the headjoint, and maybe messing with embochure adn all that good flute technicality, THAN u can but not normally.

You may cut a suitable length of rubber tube and insert into the other end of the b foot and see if you can produce the low B flat.
According to the web site below, there had been flutes made in the 19 century with a Bb foot joints. Check it !

There's no fingering for it, just for low B natural. You could make yourself extremely flat, but that would mess up other notes.
Sometimes I play songs for my church that are written for piano or any C instrument, and when it goes that low, I just take it up the octave. Then I can actually be heard too. :-)

Thanks to Mikey, Maggie, and Richard for responding to my plight! I didn't think there was a fingering for it, but am scheduled to play the flute part in a chamber orchestra edition of the Dvorak Stabat Mater, which does call for the low B flat in spots, by virture of key signature and associated tessitura. Will try to finagle something -- maybe just leaving that note out, if it's not too glaringly evident!

The low B flat is first finger, first finger on your right hand, and fourth finger on your right hand to vent.
