 Flute question

Hi! I am quite a newer in flute. I feel easy to play soft low notes but have difficulty in playing middle notes softly. What's the problem?

try tightening your appeture and blow in the flute a little more softly.

i agree with the other two...
Although i not a regular player.....but i have learn a bit through frens in a brass band..

According to their hypothesis: the higher the note,blow softer.Besides that blowing to hard can make u giddy too.(lost of oxygen)
