 new oboe
Author: Ali

I started playing the oboe this year, and as of now I am using a school owned instrument. I am in the process of looking for an oboe of my own. I have two questions.
1)I found a Platz oboe for a cheap price. Is that a good oboe or not?
2)Where could I find a good semi-cheap oboe??

how cheap?? it could be a good oboe but good oboes are expensive to make. an oboe under $1000 is not worth it. a intermediate level oboe should be from $1500 to $2000. i have a yamaha that was $3600. if you plan to persue oboe go ahead a buy a good professional or at least high-end intermediate oboe.
