I need a fingering cart for an 8-holed ocarina{6 holes on top,
2 on bottom} I can't seem to find them anywhere, I've searched on google, but that doesn't help.

Hi,
I have just discovered the wonderful sounds of the ocarina by accident.
My dad went out today and bought me a clay ocarina (it was the only one he could find) it is a 8 hole (6 on top and 2 on the bottom).
I would be grateful if you could help me find some music and a fingering chart.

HELP!!!!!!
I've been looking forever and I Can't find ANYTHING for
8-holed ocarinas(7 on top, 1 on bottom) Please somebody, ANYBODY: HELP!!! Ineed it very soon because I ave a contest coming up and I didn't know I needed to tell the judges what notes I was playing and it's to late to back out! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was trying to find music for mine too and I found a website that makes them and it said that it's played the same way as a recorder so maybe if you look for recorder music you'll be able to figure it out.

I looked and couldn't find one, either. A student received one as a gift and the fingering chart that came with the ocarina was for a 6 hole instrument. Let me know if you find one. Good Luck.

I have found a web page that sells eight hole ocarinas.
If you go to this web page you will find a chart for the 8 hole ocarina.
The chart shows you the notes you need to play the 8 hole ocarina and how to play it.
With the chart you can play many songs.
You can also print out the chart if you want.

All I did to figure out the scale for a 4 hole( 4 on top 1 on bottom) was go highest to lowest in the order that I thought sounded right. ( now half the songs I look at dont sound right

but the 6 on top and 2 on bottom is hard!!!!! clay is hard to play. BUT I have FIGURED out 1 song, and Im not sure if it's right

for eight hole ocs ( 7 ontop one on bottom ) go to ocarinaland i have to serach the addres to find it but it really helped me so hope i answered some of your questions
