A Gig Bag is like a soft case for your instrument i believe. I have one for my Alto. It's a Gig Bag...lol... but the brandi have is Gig to my knowledge. And it's just a soft case basically

I'm not entirely sure but I think gig bags generally have pockets for music, accessories etc. Some have carrying straps so you can put them on your shoulde / back instead of having to use your hands - suppose it's so you can carry a music stand and still have one hand free lol.
