 Stupid Question
Author: Aaron

This is probably a really dumb question: are ther special names for people who play to instruments? For example, would there be a name for a person that plays French horn and flute? Or would someone who plays clarinet and oboe be called a clarinoboist? If not, they should be...

Someone who plays the clarinet and the oboe is called a musician. If you want to be specific about they are called a clarinetist or an oboist. Someone who plays the French horn is called a French hornist but to be politically correct they are called a hornist. For the flute they would be called a flautist or flutist since nowadays both are just as acceptable

They're often called "doublers".
