 F# problem on wooden flute

i got a new wooden flute for xmas, but its more like a tin whistle, ie it doesnt have keys just 7 holes. my problem is that i cant seem to figure out F#. iv tried all sorts of fingerings but it just doesnt sound right at all. can anyone help?

Is it a traverse flute, 6 holes and no keys ? Here is the fingering for F#

Blow Hole LH RH

O = Open Hole
X = Hole with finger on

you might want to try the fingering for the recorder on your wooden flute
