I'm looking at very high clarinet notes, and I was wondering if anyone has managed to squeak out anything higher than the G5 listed on this page. Please reply if you have. Thanks.

Why bother? Up there it isn't music anyway but just noise.

It is very rarely that anything is written above C4. This is normally considered to be the "top note" of clarinet playing, although very occasionally higher notes are encountered in music.

Yes I have found a sight that shows up to Db4. the fingerings all work for me o-k. you probably need a better reed. try play a VanDoren 4 1/2. thats what I play.

I can play that high. It took me awhile but hey I got it right. Like Saxy Boy said just use a better reed. But I play on a 5. That helped me a little bit more.
