 oboe problems

my second octave on my oboe sucks. okay i've only been playing the oboe for three days but i think something may be up. i used to have a problem with the second octave g but that is gone now. okay i know when you get to the second octave e, you have to add the back octave key. i also know that when you get up to second a and etc you have add the second (side) octave key. my second octave a plays better without the side octave key than with it. however the b flat, when played correctly (side octave key) plays just fine. when i play the a the way it is supposed to be played i get this pinched out almost buzzing sound. i this my oboe or is this just a problem note for the oboe? i use a medium soft emerald reed(store bought). i have a soft jones reed. i think the jones is the better buy but i can't tell because it is too soft. also i can't really play that loud on oboe for some reason.

3 days?
don't even start to complain......haha.....
jones is quite good....from my experience....
but they do require a bit of adjustment at times....
and anyways.....and i really do have to say.....don't buy commercial reeds which are too soft...they don't give you too many space for adjustment and most of the time they not well made....try http://shop.kge-reeds.com/
they are super expensive......but well worth the money....

a buzzing sound? most probably an alignment problem.....
anything else u said were just basic problems faced by new players....
if its not an alignment problem with the 'A' note you must be pinching to get the higher octave....good fingering habits are essential to get the most out of the oboe...
you MUST add the 2nd octave key for notes above A till C(unless u play an automatic system), some say its also ok to add the 1st octave key together to ease your fingers.
you cant play loud because your embouchure needs a lot of work.....judging from '3 days'....not to mention air support and all....just work harder from now on and be sure to give your instrument an overhaul to see whether its your problem......or not.....
