I have played also sax for 15 years and play every day. How long will it take to get up and running on clarinet assuming I practice an hour most days.

How long it takes depends on your level/standard of playing.
The embouchure is "tighter" for the clarinet, and there are fingering differences since the clarinet overblows an octave plus a fifth.

I recently went from clarinet to Tenor Sax for Jazz Band. It took me about 3 weeks to understand and be able to play notes without even thinking about it. The clarinet and saxaphone are very similar instruments. Most of the upper octave notes are the same. the only difference is how you hold your amature during playing... just be careful.

I don't think that it will take that long since you're used to using reeds alot... just remember that a clarinet needs ALLOT of omature (can't spell it the other way lol) and that it's not as big as a sax (that is if your using a Bb a\clarinet) so be gentle with it and put your fingers over the keys alot more, also you don't have to worry about blowing the lower notes to a certain extent to make them come out low... one more thing to remember, (this helps me because I actually went from the clarinet to the sax) The sax's G is the clarinet's C. Good luck, because the clarinet is a fun instrument
