I have a song in which I need to play an A below the staff, but I don't know the fingering to it! Does anyone know this fingering? Thanks!

You can't play the A below the staff unless you're Alex Klein and have a low A oboe, and I'm assuming you're not.

actually it is possible, because i can play it althought you have to mess around with it alot...look for different fingering charts and eventually u'll find it because how i'll explain it will probably confuse you since i call keeys by weird names ^_^

DrumMajor, no combination of fingerings will produce a low A on the oboe, the physics of the instrument simply does not allow it to go that low. You either need a special made (and very rare) oboe with a low A or take the phrase up an octave. And i'm curious, who writes for an oboe that low??
