Hi, I have been playing the bari-sax since christmas and Im wondering if anyone can help me. I need to know how to play the really low A (2 lines below the measure). My fingering chart only goes down to low A#. Please help, I need to know this relativly soon.

Most Baritone saxes have an extra key called the low A key specially to play this note. It is usually positioned at the left thumb, but sometimes at the left little finger. The fingering is the normal low C fingering with this extra key added. If your sax has not got this key, then it is impossible to play the note you want.

if your sax does'nt have the low A key, there is another way
of reaching the lowest posible note on the horn and that is by sticking your foot in the bell!
