Not original, I know, but I find them amusing and true!
Word of advice: Learn to spell "Saxophone" if you want to get a decent grade in your report.

I will admit to plaigarism (sp?) on that one. Although clarinet is my first instrument, I double on alto sax and understand the tuning problems first hand, so I am laughing at myself here. I play clarinet in a concert band, and we had our Christmas concert last Saturday. We played the big band arrangement of Christmas Jazz Suite (I forget the composer) and the conductor re-organised the band for that one number. Anyone who could play sax was asked to play sax. Our normal sax section is 3 altos, 1 tenor, 1 bari. Added to this were 3 of the clarinets and bassoon player switching to alto, and one clarinet switching to tenor. This made 11 saxes: 8 alto, 2 tenor, 1 bari. Some saxes were warm from being played throughout the concert, some were cold. There were some interesting noises when we were tuning up!

whats the difference between a sax and a lawnmower?
u can tune a lawnmower.
our saxes actually have great tuning. our trumpets are always horribley out. its rare we have to ajust our tuning

well thats wat i'm doing to. But first you should use an encyclopedia to find saxaphone..... copy down the information.If thats not enough search saxaphone on the computer. good luck to you and to me!!!!
