 Clarinets Selmer series 9
Author: Albert
Date:   2004-12-01 16:02

I have some questions concerning Selmer clarinets series 9 respectivly series 9 star
1.) Selmer B-clarinet series 9
How long is the barrel of this clarinet?
How long is the bell of this clarinet?

2.) Selmer A-clarinet series 9 (with Star)
How long is the barrel of this clarinet?
How long is the bell of this clarinet?

3.) Are the bells of A-clarinets and B-clarinets of the same length or is the Bell of the A-clarinet longer?

4.) Were these clarinets of series 9 build by Selmer in pitch of 440 Hz and 442 Hz as well?

5.) How do the lengths of barrels and Bells vary depending from the pitch?

6.) What is the meaning of the little star on the barrel and on the upper joint of a series 9 clarinet?

7.) How can I find out whether a clarinet is made in high or low pitch (442 Hz / 440 Hz)?

8. Are the Barrels of Selmer clarinets of series 10 longer or shorter than those of series 9 or are they of the same length?

Thank you for answering one or more of my questions and excuse me for my horrible english.
Best regards
Albert
