HAy everybody. umm i was wondering and have been thi9nking. umm i startd playing sax about 5 or 6 years ago and i have never had a private lesson. i am now a sophmore in high school and as a freshman was in the symphonic band at my school and now as a sophmore i am in the highest bands i can get in in my school. I have always wondered wht it would do for me to find a private instructor to improve m,y playing more. my director is a brass player and no offense but he doesnt know jack diddly about a woodwind and the tone.if any body could help me out on this one it would be greatly appreciated. and does anybody know anybody in the denver metro are or somewhere around there that teaches sax?

musically yours,
Jon K.

I'm not in the area so I don't know of any, but I do know that a good one will help no matter what your level of playing. The main idea is to take the philosophy that your never good enough and always need to do anything you can to improve.
