i'm an oboe player. i wanna learn 2 play the clarinet as a second instrument... but i am not sure if i should buy this really awesome looking white clarinet. i mean, if it has a crazappy sound, then why bother? but if it doesn't... plz help!!!! thankies!

Color makes no difference. HOWEVER, brand and model do. If it is a Buffet, Leblanc (Vito), Selmer or Yamaha, it should be fine.

Make sure it is a name brand clarinet otherwise it is crap. The ones dee listed and artley ones sometimes work, id only go with those ones.

no colored clarinets do not sound bad. im in the band at my high schools and i play the clarinet. a frined of mine has a white one and theres no difference in sound

I know that there isnt, they sound exactly the smae pretty much, but he was just oging to vote on the one on ebay for one dollar...i of course had to prevent that...seems evil but meh.
