does anyone use the music software finale 2003? if any of you all do, then do you know how to put tremelos in the music? if i'm not mistaken a tremelos is like going between 2 notes of different intervals apart and most of the time looks like two half notes with thirty second note bars on them. anyway i'm arranging this piece for my school band and there is a part where there are tremelos but i can't figure out how to make the tremelos and i was patient enough to write out the tremelo either.

Well, in finale 2004 there is a tool to use. Make sure your main tool window is open and and pick the tool where you can add cresendos and slurs and stuff. The tremelo tool looks like a "Tre" or "Trem" If you want to hold the tremelo through a measure just hold down the mouse button and drag untill you want to stop.Click above the note you want the tremelo. Also, look at the list of hot-keys finale comes with, it will make your job much easier. If you need any help on any other software just email me.
