Is there a way to predict the flute fingerings using physics/mathematics? It is OK if there is a method which is not very accurate.

Hello,
I am by birth , a serious saxophone player who happens to also play a little jazz flute. I am having a few problems with some fingerings. Could you please email me a complete fingering chart and also some alternate fingerings.

Do you have a flute fingering chart that you could email to me? I have not played my flute for several years and just need a little refresher. Thank you!

To any one who needs fingering charts: I have many charts with all the basic notes from B1 through F#4, alternate fingerings of all kinds and trill charts and if you want them you need to email me at
PeneloPea@iname.com
Other than that, you can visit these sites:
For alternate

For basic

For trills

If after visiting this, you still have problems, then feel free to email me.

Visit the page of the UNSW:
http://www.phys.unsw.edu.au/music/flute/virtual/main.html
There is good explanatory information in the web page as well about physics and mathematics.
Enjoy!
