im not sure if theris somthing wrong with my clarinet or me, when i play the chromatic scale and go from middle(?) c to C#my claro always squeaks.is it me or my clarinet???

That note has never squeaked for me. You are talking about the fingering where all the fingers of your left hand except the little finger are down, and then you add the little finger on the C# key?

It could be that you are lifting one of your left hand fingers when you move the little finger to operate the C# key. Try reaching around with your right hand and working the C# key, or get a friend to press the key while you play. Does it still squaek? If so, it may be something wrong with the clarinet. Get your teacher to test it. If it doesn't squeak when you use your right hand or a friend, then it is just that you are not holding your left hand steady on the finger holes.
