 Martin Bros. Paris model clarinet?
Author: Daniel

I bought a vintage walnut Martin Bros. Paris model Eflat clarinet on a whim about 10 years ago. I played it for about five years and haven't picked it up since then for any amount of time. I'm toying with the idea of selling it but can't seem to get any information to help me decide... is anyone on the forum familiar with this instrument or can you help me find more information? Thanks! Daniel

Why do you think it is made of walnut? That would be most unusual and unlikely.

Everyone who's ever looked at it or maintained it for me has agreed it's walnut. Why do you say that's unusual and unlikely?

Simply because most clarinets that you see on the market are made of Grenadilla wood, enver heard walnut...
