Hello, fellow musicians!
I have received many requests and questions for fingerings that I could not answer myself. But there are so many musicians browsing the web and sites like this one that could answer such questions.
Hence, I asked Mark Charette set up this Forum so that you can ask questions and receive answers from the musicians that can answer your questions better than I can. This Bulletin Board will be fully searchable, so if you have a question, you may be able to find a previous discussion of it.
I look forward to learning from your questions and responses!

Tim: A wonderful idea!! Fingerings for historical instruments should be included. Your tablature scheme seems quite workable, although one using dots would be more graphically clear.
Thanks for caring!!

An excellent idea, Mr. Reichard. I've been playing the clarinet for eight years, but my private teacher feels strongly about not letting the fingerings for those ungodly, glass-shattering, above-G6 notes fall into the wrong hands. Translation: he refuses to tell me. After perusing every fingering chart in my possession, I have come to the conclusion that there exists an evil conspiracy that has deemed me absolutely unworthy of this knowledge. I now demand the truth, and have come here in hopes of someone willing to grant it to me. All joking aside, this forum is great and quite unique so far as I know. Thanks!
Sonia
