Onion soup? well, it's not "the" french speciality but it's no so bad(even if some stomachs don't appreciate :-/!!)!
Didn't you eat snails(awful!!!) foie gras, or french cheese? :-µ
by the way, I just went to Sicily and I got crazy about real italian pastas, pizzas! So different from what we eat in France! :-)
but i think I'm quite lucky : in my area there is quite a lot of italians, so pizzas are appreciated!

I didn't like pasta and pizza in Holland (they put cheese instead of mozzarella for example..) but never ate it in France!
We eat snails too sometimes but I really can't do that :D
Yeah I also ate foie gras and french cheese (so gooood!).

Bonjour Frenchie
The best Onion soup I ever tasted was at a pavement cafe in Montmarte on the last day of my Paris trip. That was 14 yrs ago and I've never tasted the like since. Dont you think foie gras is a very cruel food in the way it is produced?- force feeding geese!!!
Regards
Scotty

In France there are many associations protesting against foie gras and I think the way of producing is awful.
By the way, I don't like the taste.
I'm kind of vegetarian too but I couldn't live without cheese and eggs (in pizzas and pastas!) :-P
You went to Montmartre? So nice! but well, don't have the chance of living in Paris!

Frenchie I'm like you: don't eat meet (maybe sometimes, if you can't understand it's an animal by seeing it) but I love cheese and sometimes eggs too
