 Is this able to be fixed??

If the metal part of the top joint of the oboe (the reed holder) comes out, can it be fixed? And if so, would it be really expensive?? Thanks.

I've never actually ran into this problem myself, but I'm sure it wouldn't be horribly expensive. I believe it is just a metal insert...however I've never seen this happen before, so I'm not sure.

Of course, it can't be any more expensive than re-corking I would assume. They would probably just put it in and glue.
