Hi! I play Bari sax, tenor, alto, bass clari.,trombone and trumpet. Getting a good sound out of the thing is the hardest part. I suggest learning alll the scales first to get fingering down. Once you have that it will seem easy. I have a question though. Does a Bass saxaphone have anything differeny about it besides it's in Bb and is huge?

I'm interested in buying a saxaphone, and was wondering if someone could advise me on :
- in buying a used saxaphone - what should i look for, or make sure there is no damage on ?
- is a yamaha saxaphone a good one ?
- should i get a tenor or alto sax ?

Thanks,
michael
