George Bundy was associated with the Selmer Company and the the Bundy line of saxophones was named after him. The overall design of the instrument carrying the Bundy nameplate has changed dramatically over the years. At one time, it was actually being produced by Kielwerth (these are considered the best of the Bundys). Later, the aquisition of Buescher ended up in the Bundy being modeled after the Aristocrats (which were fine, classical sounding horns). I'm not sure what the Bundy II's are modeled after, but universally they are considered inferior to any previous instrument carrying the Bundy Nameplate.
