It's only been the second year am on the clarinet.Am just playing it in a simple high school so i can't play it everyday. But not am getting problems that i often have to move back my mouth to put the embouchure correctly and i often am flat.I want to know how to control the sound well and how much of the mouth piece do i put in my lips in inches?

I suppose about half an inch. Your bottom lip should be on top of your bottom teeth and pressing against the reed about half way up the sloped part of the reed.

talk to your band teacher or section leader drum major etc... for embature work (sorry i can't spell), its about tightning you mouth muscles and placing your chin just right to get a good tone and intonation
