What stand do you use for alto flute and piccolo? I am looking at the Hamilton 5 peg base which looks pretty versatile. It can take pegs for alto flute, piccolo plus flute, clarinet and soprano sax.
Has anyone used this stand, or what stand do you use for alto flute and piccolo?

I have a set of wooden stands that take interchangeable pegs. They were made by an oboist in the Toronto area.
I've got flute and alto flute pegs, as well as an elevated picc peg, so you don't have to bend over to get everything. Last time I used fl/picc/alto flute and clarinet, I used two of the stand bases with two pegs on each.
You can have a look at it here:

That's the setup I used on Secret Garden, and yes, I played all twelve instruments you see there.

Check out the Blayman stand.s Several base sizes avaliable which can come with various pegs. Mine has C flute, Alto flute, and Pic. pegs.
The Blayman is heavy and won't be light to carry around. But that also makes it stable and resistant to tipping over.

I use Blayman pegs with a Hamilton 5-peg base. This reduces the weight of my doubling equipment. I have not had any problems with this set up.
