 Known typos in show books
Author: davyd

"Guys & Dolls" again; *sigh*. O well; after more than 3 years away from the pit, I might as well do one of the more straightforward shows.

One would think that after 57 years, all the typos would have been corrected, but that's not so; each new batch of books has the same old mistakes. Someone told me once there's lists of known errors that are maintained online, but they didn't know where. Any ideas?

Peter Pan--the entire book is a typo!

Not to deingrate the music, which is wonderful--the copying is extremely sloppy, rife with errors, and includes several huge blotches of ink covering up notes. Often the orchestra rehearsal numbers do not match the chorus numbers.
