i am not familiar with the piccolo, but i am familiar with the Selmer Omega line. There are actually two Omega lines. An old one and a new one. the newest one is designed for school music dealers. It is an exclusive line that only school targeting stores are allowed to sell. These instruments are not meant to be sold over the internet. The marketing behind it is to allow the smaller dealers to better control the margin without the margin-reducing competition of the big stores and internet. I'm afraid that that is all i know.
