I have a recording of Lajos Lencses playing Bozza's Aria on the Cor Anglais. Having just acquired a cor anglais, I would love to learn to play this but can't find an arrangement for cor. Does anyone know if one has been published or if I will have to transpose it myself?

There's a Bozza for EH in the vade mecum; don't know if it's the one you're referring to.

No, it's not the one in the Vade Mecum. The one I'm referring to is called "Aria." I'm not sure what it was originally written for but most flautists seem to know it. I have found it for violin (or flute), clarinet or Sax alto none of which are any good for the cor anglais as it has a piano accompaniment.

I don't know if this will help, but Bozza adapted his "Aria" from the third movement of the Organ Pastorale in F major (BMV 590) by J. S. Bach. So you may want to search for it under that name.
(I believe "adapted" is a kind way of saying "stole"?)
