Anybody ever heard of a Maestro oboe?
Author: Dutchy

I'm saving my pennies for a backup oboe, looking at (probably) a used Yamaha 841 eventually, but I came across the mention of something called a "Maestro" oboe, and I wondered what it was. It says "Maestro" on the bell, it says it's got full conservatory, whatever it is, and the picture shows two keys on the bell, although not left-hand F. It's got metal-lined tenons; I assume that means it's wood, yes? And what I can see of the inside of the case says something in French, "...du Vertois (?), PARIS".
