There's a Beethoven work entitled "Three Duets". Unfortunately I don't have the opus number, It was arranged for bassoon and oboe or clarinet. Good Luck!

Beethoven - 3 Duos for Clarinet and Bassoon WoO 27, were most likely composed in 1792 (probably around the time Beethoven moved to Vienna), and published in Paris between 1810 and 1815.
There is speculation that 2 additional versions of the duos exist. Whether they were done by Beethoven has not been substantiated. One is purportedly for violin and cello, and the other for clarinet and viola...GBK

Have you tried playing the Barret method together? All the melodic exercises are in duet form. Top line is treble clef, bottom line bass clef. Not sure how the range works out for bassoon, but it's a worthwhile book to own for oboe at least.
Visit sheetmusicplus.com and do a search for "Oboe Bassoon Duet" and/or "Violin Cello duet". Many of the books will have images so you can see if they look like something you'd like to try.
Best of luck,
Stephen (Piko)

Baroque music in general (Bach, Loeillet, Telemann, Vivaldi, Corelli and many more) works well. Oboe plays the normal oboe (or flute or violin) part and basoon plays the lowest line of the left hand on the piano part. It's realy worth a try!

You can always just read top and bottom lines of a piano score - which is not ideal since you can't cover all the parts, but opens a lot more music for cheap. Bach's 2 part inventions are great for this.

I've done the Barrett duets with my bassoonist friend. They're fun.
I would add to Sheet Music Plus, this web site: http://www.trevcomusic.com/
go to the Online Catelog link and select your instrumentation. There was a long list for oboe and bassoon.
Good luck.

It's a little tricky. You should edit an old message a few times to play around with it.
The hard part is thinking differently about brackets "[" "]". Playing around by randomly bolding, underlining or italicizing really helps to get used to it. It takes time, but with practice it gets easier and quicker.

I know Villa-Lobos and Jolivet wrote duets for oboe and bassoon and from what I have heard, they are extremely difficult.

I believe there's a duet by Poulenc for oboe and bassoon--oh, wait, it's a trio. With piano.
