Have you tried playing the Barret method together? All the melodic exercises are in duet form. Top line is treble clef, bottom line bass clef. Not sure how the range works out for bassoon, but it's a worthwhile book to own for oboe at least.
Visit sheetmusicplus.com and do a search for "Oboe Bassoon Duet" and/or "Violin Cello duet". Many of the books will have images so you can see if they look like something you'd like to try.
Best of luck,
Stephen (Piko)
