Very funny.
Ironically, my wife who is a potter recently discovered that there are some worthwhile properties in the ashes of cane. So, we've been burning the cane from my mistakes and spent reeds. It is very hard to burn them completely. We've had to use a small torch to turn them into cinders. I suppose it makes sense that those old reeds would be so stubborn even in cremation.
