In the Bach double, the tutti sections in the last movement can be very taxing, while it is imperative to be in good form for the solo lines. Consequently, if you can manage to play the tutti sections without impairing the solo lines, then do them. But if you need to take a break before the solos, then be very discreet about ducking out, as the sudden absence of the oboe sound can be quite noticeable. Play the tuttis in mezzo piano and use a timbre which melds with the strings to make your breaks less noticeable. Listen to recordings and determine in which tutti phrases the oboe is more covered by the strings.
In some baroque concerti the solo oboe line is not written out at the end of the last movement but nonetheless should be played along with the strings.
