I like the jewelry option (as a female oboist who is romantically inclined) and also the reed case. I think it depends on what she has already, though. If she has never gotten a reed making kit, that's your ticket right there. Or something else that's useful like that. I think, though, that I would most like to get a bouquet of oboe reeds, maybe with a single red rose tucked in the center. You could find out what kind of reeds she uses (unless she only uses the ones she makes) and set them on sticks in a bouquet. Maybe that's not your style, but it would be original and romantic.
