Hi, happy to see the oboe bb up and running. I just received what I'm guessing is a turn of the century instrument that has what I believe may be called "military" system keywork (or simple system?). It's in great shape and turned out to be a buffet with a british seller stamp. The intonation is great and it's a delight to play. My question is where can I find a fingering chart for this - doe's anyone know of an online source? I've also got a triebert system by noblet-thibouville from around 1880 (ten key, double holes, and yes it can be a bear) and I've yet to come across a chart for this. Any help would be appreciated. By the way Clarence, I purchased a wonderful instrument off of "that place" for about 900 - an older gebruder monnig full conservatory, perfect condition, no cracks, well adjusted silver keywork that I feel is pretty much a steal at the price. I know I was lucky but don't overlook some of the off brand instruments if you're looking for your first oboe to take you through school.
