I'm looking for the type of case that has the mandrels onto which you can slide the reed. When you open the case you can rotate the mandrel up to make it "offer" the reed to you. It seems whenI use my current ribbon-style case, I very often end up scraping the side or tip of the reed against the interior of the case as I remove it.
I am having difficulty finding a high-quality case like this. The ones I've seen are plastic and only hold three reeds. I'd like a non-plastic case and be able to hold around six reeds. Thanks.
(And I'd like something similar for my English horn reeds, too!)
