You are sooo lucky! I love that piece! A lot of the piece is going to be up to you and your teacher. Some parts such as on the first page with the fast staccato sixteenth notes, sometimes it's played freely or directly in time. Have fun with it though! It's really good for you technique! The beginning can be treated as a cadenza where you start out slow and pick it up which makes a cool beginning. The second page you'll really have to sit down with a metronome and work with your fingers. Dynamics are HUGE in this piece. I remember getting yelled at a lot to pay attention to such things. Definitely listen to a recording because it sounds so different with a piano. Basically, there's two little themes. There's a color chance when you get to the bottom of the first page. You'll definitely notice it and you'll want to make that part soft and light. Just make sure you really contrast the two colors. If you have any questions, ask away. But I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I did!!!
