 A serious question!

I am a senior in high and my dream is to become a pro oboist. i know how hard it is and how difficult it is to get a job. I live in ohio so i plan on going to a school in ohio. I have only been playing oboe for 3 years and about 1.5 intensivly.( practing between 1.5 to 3.5 hours a day) I am not the best player, not the most talented. I am trying to get into a conseratory of music, because i know if i get into one of those and work hard i know my chances increase.

I will be appying at CIM, CCM and Ohio state university school, after i hopefully get into one of those colleges( if god is by my side) i will try to transfer to a better and more intense school of music. Is this a good Idea? does this sounds like a right thought out choice?
By the way, the pieces i am playing for the college auditions are

Marcellos's concerto in C minor
Telemanns Sonata in A minor ( First and second mov)
Ferling # 8
Are those pieces good enough for conseratories? will they think those are difficult enough? ( i know it depends on how i play them but in general will colleges respect those pieces?) Thank you
Baron
