Guntram Wolf is an oboe maker/brand.
The oboe crown (bulbous area around reed well) is white. Guntram uses white and black crowns to differentiate between types of oboes. I think they use the white crown for French conservatoire and black for another system.
(oboe "crown" may not be the right word, but I figured that would explain the area for everyone)
