#4 Tie some binding string to your Stove top
Sorry i have poor english can you elaborate more on this section to me? As in not a dead knot and in the heat?
#6 place the hot mandrel in the end of the cane and do 2-3 quick binds at the very end of the cane
Tie the cane on the mandrel and then after cooling it down remove it with/without strings attached?
