I played one way back in college back ing the mid-1960s. Very good playing instrument for a university owned instrument; better than the other option I had back then which was a selmer. For english horn the university only owned a Selmer but it worked well.

I don't have any knowledge if the current made instruments play like those over 40 years old. The description of the model 400W looks like what i played on. woodwind/brasswind has it for sale at $2000
