Thank you for recommending my reeds!
I would recommend that anyone who is in the market for reeds try every source they can find. Chances are great that someone out there makes reeds you'll like. As a reedmaker who is new to the commerical reedmaking scene, I often try other reeds to get ideas for myself.
One of my favorites is North Texas Oboe Reeds: http://www.oboereeds.safeshopper.com/ When I tried his reeds a few years ago, I liked the student ones better than the pro ones.
The internet is a great resource for this sort of thing. Check out ebay and do a lot of googling.
