I, personally ,would choose the Fossati ,hands down, but you should play them both (if possible) and pick the one that plays best for you. I absolutely love my Fossati instruments, and couldn't imagine playing anything else in a concert situation, but I have come across very good Lorees as well...I find them to be far less consistent than the Fossatis, however YMMV.
