Well my only true christmas day gift was a great dinner with friends but technically a week before that i got myself to the other side of the country and got myself these! - - -
1. Schumann's Romanze opus 94 for oboe....great piece with quite a challenge! plus a cd of it from Naxos, played by Jozsef Kiss, great recording!
2. My very first real good oboe reed! AIN'T THAT NICE
3. 3 more cds.....Reicha wind quintets, played by Academia Wind Quintet of Prague, Strauss on ALso Sprach Zarathustra, with the chicago symphony,
n Shostakovich's Jazz Album played by the Royal concertgebouw orchestra.
