I'm not sure - I do find the Howarth/Kobl one a bit of a tight fit when it goes through the top joint bore, whereas the oboe ones glide through no problem.
I keep them rolled up and stored in the bell so they're always at their maximum width when unfurled instead of wht I see a lot which is just scrunching them up and bunging them in the case cover pocket where they get all covered in dust (or laying them on the floor which I also see a lot - I hang them from my music stand shelf).
