 Oboe d’amore advice

Good morning

I currently own an early 1980s Howarth S2 (thumbplate only) d’amore, but have been interested by a similar aged dual system Marigaux. However, there’s a note from the seller about a while/not a crack to the wood below the D key, to the south east of looking face on.

I just wondered if this is a problem, non-standard etc.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Chris
