Marketing spiel always has to be taken with a massive pinch of salt. Prestini as an instrument maker was an Italian company whose oboes are often seen on eBay in various guises - you'll often see 'La Margue' mentioned on here and they're Prestini-made oboes.
The majority of new oboes sold by a company that also sells other woodwinds under their same house brand name that isn't a recognised and reputable maker's name is most likely a Chinese instrument.
