My wife just received an oboe from her recently deceased grandmother who played in the Houston Symphony at one point in time. As an oboe player, she is going to have it restored. We were trying to identify when it was made and I came across this forum. Hopefully, someone can help identify these letters and numbers.

We believe it says AY or AV followed by what looks like 36.
